Why I’m joining Ineco Energy

By Lauren Polhill | 8th July 2021

Kickstarter, Blu, recently joined the Marketing team. In this blog, she explains why she is so proud to be working within the renewable energy industry.

When the world was launched into lockdown at the beginning of 2020, bringing all human activity to a standstill, not only did the number of Covid cases drop significantly, but we also had the chance to see how nature can recover without us. We saw goats take over the streets of Llandudno, peacocks outside of shop doors, and impressive architecture become visible through the smog once more.

It was predicted that a fall as big as 7% in CO2 emissions would be present by the end of the year.

But now, as civilization begins to return to normality, scientists state that global temperatures may only drop as little as 0.01C as a result of the Pandemic.

Climate change is still as prevalent as ever, with the last 22 years including the 20 hottest that this planet has ever seen. More than 1 million species, including humans, are at risk of extinction by climate change, and the effects may be irreversible by 2030.

That is why now, more than ever before, it is so important to advocate for sustainability and green energy production so that we can continue to see the changes that were present at the beginning of 2020.

Ineco Energy’s mission is to deploy solar energy, LED lighting, and battery storage to deliver financial savings and environmental sustainability across the UK, as well as to educate and inform on what schools and businesses can do to reduce carbon emissions.

So far Ineco Energy has installed solutions for over 80 schools and businesses across the UK, having a notable impact on climate change that could ultimately change the future of our planet. Not only this but Ineco is committed to forming long-term relationships with clients to ensure that there is no disruption to the school or business during installation.

This is why companies like Ineco Energy are so important. Not only are they helping to put an end to climate change, but they are delivering cost-effective solutions, allowing more people the chance to make a positive impact on the world.

I’m joining Ineco Energy because for every one step we take towards sustainability, we get to take one more step on our planet.
