Raised in a farming community in north Scotland, sustainability and loving the countryside was a way of life. My passion for the world around us inspired me to study Energy and Environmental Engineering in Edinburgh and then onto Stirling for my MSc. My journey through British Gas and Heathrow Airport saw me at the forefront of many energy design, construction, waste reduction and process improvement projects.

I’m driven by a belief that through the decentralisation and careful management of energy we can not only mitigate the significant threat to our social and economic wellbeing, but that our struggling public services can realise net zero carbon and net zero energy cost, and use the generated funds for educating and saving lives and our planet.

I love to explain how reducing our impact on the planet will mean that you keep more money in your pocket for shareholders, investors, profit or simply investing in all our futures.
