LED Lighting for Schools: Emerson Valley School

A school that encourages regular litter picks and trips to the local recycling centre, Emerson Valley School is hugely passionate about the environment. Emerson Valley is a four- form entry junior school, serving a diverse, vibrant and wonderful community, in the Western Flank of Milton Keynes.

Background

Emerson Valley’s lighting was old and degraded, providing a poor learning environment for pupils and staff. Increasing energy bills coupled with costly maintenance and repairs further impacted their budget. The school wanted to create a brighter, more motivating learning environment to enthuse both students and staff and also lower their carbon footprint.

Bespoke solution

Ineco Energy worked with Emerson Valley to understand their requirements and explain the fully funded options available through the Salix Government Scheme and the Carbon Trust.
